Fabulous Cookie Dough Dip

Who doesn’t like cookie dough?? Well, if you are like me, you'll love this delicious dip - great with animal crackers, pretzels, graham crackers, Nilla wafers, apple slices, sugary pita chips...the possibilities are endless!  And the best part is how easy it is...most ingredients you probably have already!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup of butter
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1  8 ounce block of cream cheese softened
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3/4 cup of chocolate chips

METHOD:
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat.  Add brown sugar and wisk until sugar dissolves and mixture starts to bubble.  Set aside to cool and wisk in vanilla.  Cream together cream cheese and powdered sugar for about 60 seconds.  With mixer on low speed, add in brown sugar and butter mixture.  Mix until combined.  I added the chocolate chips at this time so the mixer could break them into pieces.  You can do that, or just fold in the chocolate chips.   Garnish with additional chopped chocolate!

Yields: 1 1/2 cups
